Griffith Observatory: All Mars Considered

Griffith Observatory is hosting a free panel discussion about our planetary neighbor Mars, and the challenges of starting a human colony there. The event is Friday, October 28, 2016 and starts at 7:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public, so it is advised to arrive early to get a seat.

The panelists for this discussion will be Leonard David, author of MARS: Our Future on the Red Planet, Rob Manning, JPL Engineering and Science Directorate Chief Engineer, Andre Bormanis, Co-Executive Producer of MARS: Our Future on the Red Planet, and Dr. Laura Danly, Griffith Observatory Curator, hosting.
