Grand Performances, at Two California Plaza, is hosting a series of free holiday concerts throughout the upcoming weekend.
- Friday, December 16: A Charlie Brown Christmas, Noon
- Sunday, December 18: A Charlie Brown Christmas, 2 PM
- Monday, December 19, A French Horn Holiday, Noon
Come for great holiday music, and other festive surprises like a complimentary cookie decorating party hosted by Omni Los Angeles Hotel and Grand Performances, on Sunday at 1 PM.

Fridays in December head over to Union Station’s South Patio for free musical performances and free hot cocoa. There will also be photo booth, holiday crafts, and prizes for “Ugliest Christmas Sweater”.
Musical performances include:
- Friday, December 16th – A Swinging Holiday Performance from the California Feetwarmers
- Friday, December 23rd – A Very Salsa Christmas with La Picante
Both shows are from 6 PM to 8 PM. Admission is free, but if you can please consider bringing a new unwrapped toy for the Southern California Fire Fighters Toy Drive.

On Friday, December 16, 2016, The Music Center in Downtown LA will come alive with holiday music and cheer! All in the community are welcome to come sing holiday songs, regardless of vocal talent or experience. It’s all in good fun, for the holidays.
The event is free, but a ticket is required. They will start being handed out starting at 5:30 PM. One ticket per person. Singing goes from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.

This Saturday, December 10, 2016 is the annual Palmdale Christmas Parade. It starts at 10 AM, and is free to the whole community to see. You can find viewing along the parade route, on West Ave P-8.

The Montebello firefighters are hosting a community pancake breakfast on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 8 AM to 11 AM.
The cost is $5 per adult and $3 for children. All the proceeds go to their annual toy drive. If you want you can bring an unwrapped toy valued $5 or more, in lieu of payment.

Leonard Cohen was a well-known singer and songwriter. He passed away last month. In his memory, The Music Center in Los Angeles will be playing recordings of his work in a free community event. This is a great way to meet other music lovers in your community.
The event is Thursday, December 8, 2016, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Food and drink will be available for purchase. The event itself is free to attend.

San Gabriel is hosting their 40th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, in Plaza Park starting at 6:00 PM.
There will be music, live dance performances, a free holiday-themed photo booth, and a chance for the kids to meet Santa. And at 7:00 PM the Mayor will flip the switch on the tree. It’s a great way to meet your community neighbors and kick off the holiday season!
